Dr. Vanessa Marcano joined our team as an associate in November 2023, but has been with our practice on an as needed basis since June 2022.
Dr. Marcano is from Frisco, Texas and attended Texas A&M University for her undergraduate studies and stayed to complete her doctorate graduating in 2021. During her last year of vet school, Dr. Marcano attended CHI University in Gainesville, FL for veterinary acupuncture training. In 2022, she obtained animal chiropractic training at Parker University in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Marcano’s interests include: general wellness, surgery, acupuncture, chiropractic, ophthalmology and rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Equine Practitioners.
She has two dogs, a black lab named Bonnie and a heeler named Lady May, a cat named Brahms, and a horse named Juliette.
Dr. Marcano lives in Canyone Lake, Texas and during her time away from the hospital, she loves to garden, hike, workout and enjoys spending time with her husband, Sterling.
